The Thunderbird Paddling Festival runs on the east shore at Sand Harbor State Park in Nevada, on a stretch of shoreline with a big sandy beach and miles of classic Tahoe granite. The Big Blue Waterman Challenge is a swim, run and stand-up paddle event broken into short heats — designed so newcomers and seasoned racers can both have a good day. Come to race, to demo gear, to learn, or to meet people.
