Privacy

Big Blue Adventure, LLC collects only what it needs to run a race and answer you: your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in a message. That is it.

What we do with it

We use your details to reply to you, to administer entries and volunteer rosters, and to send occasional news about the season if you have asked for it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link and we honour it.

What we do not do with it

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to sponsors. Race results are published publicly as results always have been — name, category and time. If you would rather not appear, tell us before race day and we will leave you off.

Third parties

Entries are taken through a registration provider and payments are handled by that provider, not by us. This website records basic anonymous visit statistics so we know which races people are looking at. We do not run advertising trackers.

Photography

We photograph our events and publish those photos. If a picture of you appears and you want it taken down, email us and it comes down.

Asking us about your information

Write to todd@bigblueadventure.com or call 530-546-1019 and we will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
